Founder's Journal

From the Butterhouse Journal

The Butterhouse Journal is a space for reflection—on baking, food, creativity, and the quiet choices that shape how we live and eat.

Here, you’ll find short entries about what’s happening behind the scenes, what we’re learning along the way, and why certain decisions matter to us. Some entries are about recipes. Others are about slowing down, paying attention, or choosing a different path in a culture that rewards speed and scale.

Butterhouse didn’t start as a business idea. It started as a response—to ultra-processed food, to ingredient lists we couldn’t pronounce, and to the feeling that something essential had been lost along the way.

This journal exists to hold those thoughts.
Not everything needs to be shared loudly.
Some things are best written quietly.
