Location: Wichita-area Farmers Markets
Compensation: $15/hour
Schedule: Saturdays, approximately 7:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Position Overview
The Market Host helps create the Butterhouse experience at local farmers markets. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, takes pride in presentation, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
• Welcome customers to the booth and create a friendly, inviting atmosphere.
• Process transactions using Shopify POS.
• Package cookies, scones, drinks, and other products.
• Restock displays and inventory throughout the market.
• Answer basic questions about products and ingredients.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of the booth.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace.
• Represent the Butterhouse brand with warmth and hospitality.
• Capture occasional photos and short videos of products, displays, and market activities for Butterhouse social media and marketing content.
• Help document market days, special events, and behind-the-scenes moments.
• Obtain permission before photographing identifiable customers.

• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Willing to learn product information and ingredient standards.
• Engaged and present while working (phone put away during market hours).
• Comfortable taking photos and short videos using a smartphone.
• Enjoys being part of a team and creating a positive customer experience.
Appearance & Presentation Standards
Market Hosts represent the Butterhouse brand and are expected to maintain a polished, professional appearance consistent with the Butterhouse aesthetic.
• White polo or approved Butterhouse white t-shirt.
• Butterhouse apron provided.
• Clean jeans or black/ neutral-colored pants/shorts without holes.
• Closed-toe shoes.
• Hair neatly secured when handling food.
• Clean, professional grooming and presentation.
• Friendly, welcoming demeanor.
